Karen Ann Reed

June 9, 1955 – June 2, 2025

Karen Ann Reed passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025, at the Intermountain Health Hospice Center, just one week shy of her 70th birthday.

Born in South Dakota on June 9, 1955, Karen was the firstborn daughter of John and Eva Trimble. She graduated from Fruita Monument High School in 1973 and married Richard Reed on April 26, 1979. Karen retired in 2016 after 30 years in the packaging department at Sandoz.

Karen had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and lived a life filled with movement and mindfulness. She loved biking, staying active, and embracing all things healthy. Her gentle spirit and warm smile touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.

She especially adored her daughter, Britney, and her grandchildren, Jayden and Hailey, who brought endless joy and light into her life. 

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and her beloved husband. She is survived by her daughter, Britney & Erin (biological daughter); her grandchildren, Jayden and Hailey; and her siblings, Larry (Val), Steve (Jane), Tim, Mitch, Judy (Lewis), John (Tracey), Betty (Rocky).

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
