Karen's obituary

Karen Patton, Nelson, 56, of Menomonie, WI, passed away on July 04, 2022 after a battle with COPD.


Karen was born on August 1st, 1965 to Claudine  M. Nelson and Vincent  H. Nelson in a little town in France. She gave birth to three wonderful boys, kennith J. Nelson, John Nelson, and Austin Nelson of Menomonie WI. When Karen had Kenny, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Karen excelled at propping up many friends and family and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. she made it her mission to improve the lives of others.

Karen was a passionate person and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she would be filling in her hobbies. We will miss her greatly.

Karen was predeceased by Mother Claudine M. Nelson. She is survived by Father, Vincent Nelson. Sisters, Nancy  Nelson Larson and husband Jim Larson and Joan Nelson Moran. Children, Kennith Nelson and wife Dani Nelson, Austin Nelson and wife Caitlyn Nelson, and John Nelson. Grandchildren, Cobain S Nelson 17. Tris Nelson and Camille Nelson. Cooper Myles Nelson, age 3. And Sydney Nelson, age 2. Skylar Speirs age 10. Nieces, Ashley Moran. Shannon Johnson. Andrew Johnson. Austin Larson, Kaylene Larson (Joseph Johnson) Devin, Josiah, Aliyah. Harley Larson(Brittany). Great nieces and nephews, Jocelyn. Brantley and Mckenna and Many friends. Family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Kenny. There will be a celebration of life at a later time.
