Karen Michelle Langway-Cote, aged 67, passed away on October 7, 2024, after a valiant battle with breast cancer. Born on October 2, 1957, Karen led a life marked by profound professional achievements and a deep commitment to her family.
Karen completed her Masters Degree in Psychology from Rutgers University, which paved the way for a distinguished career. She worked as an editor at Vogue Magazine, bringing insight and elegance to the publication. Later, she dedicated herself to the field of mental health, serving as a psychotherapist at John Flannery High School in Goshen, NY. Her compassion and dedication to helping others left a lasting impact on many.
Karen is survived by her loving daughters, Aimee, Chloe, and Georgia; her granddaughter, Olivia; and her siblings, Paul Langway, Mark Langway, Patricia Hise, and Michael Langway. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Janet Langway.
A celebration of Karen’s life will be held in Warwick, NY, with details to be announced. Her legacy of kindness, professionalism, and love will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
