Karen's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Klein, lovingly remembered as a kind, compassionate, selfless, fun, and loyal individual. Karen was born on October 18, 1974, and departed this world on April 26, 2024. She leaves behind an indelible legacy of love and compassion, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Karen is survived by her mother, Arletta Carson, and father, Don Klein. She is also survived by her step-mother, Susie Klein. Karen was cherished by her siblings; sisters, Amy Redd, Rachael Carson, Katie Santucci, and brothers, Shawn McFarlane, Ryan Carson, James Klein. The bond of family extended to her siblings-in-law, including Justin Redd, Evan Santucci, Nick Carson, Amanda Carson, and Jessica Klein. Karen was predeceased by her step-father, Kit Carson.
The joy of being an aunt was one of Karen's greatest pleasures. She leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews; Morgan Baker, Caleb Carson, Tessa Carson, Emma McFarlane, Austin Redd, Jaren (JR) Redd, Andrew Klein, and Caleb Klein. Karen was the best sister and aunt, and her family was paramount to her.
Karen had a successful career with the San Bernardino County, where she dedicated over twenty years of service. Her passions extended beyond her professional life. A lover of Iced Coffee, Karen was often found with her favorite drink from Dunkin Donuts. She was an avid reader with too many favorite books to list, and a fan of TV Shows including Friends, Gilmore Girls, as well as anything on HGTV.
She loved to spend her free time with friends and family and spoiling her two dogs - Zoey (Zoe Zoe) & Baxter. Karen was a loyal supporter of the Chicago Bears and the LA Dodgers, and her favorite color was purple.
Karen was an advocate for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a cause very close to her heart. Her personal and professional achievements, her love for her family, and her selfless acts of kindness contribute to an unforgettable legacy. A celebration of life for Karen will be held on July 28, 2024, at 4:00 PM at Central Park. We will always remember Karen for her compassionate nature, her unwavering generosity, and her ability to make others smile.
