Karen's obituary
Karen was a remarkable woman, known for her deep Christian faith, her role as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt, as well as her talents as a singer and event planner. Her hobbies included singing, Bible study, planning elaborate parties, doting on her grandchildren, home decor, and shopping with her daughter.
She leaves behind her husband, Terry Hester, her daughter, Kari Irvine and son-in-law, Tyler Irvine, her son, Tyson Hester and daughter-in-law, Anna Hester along with her grandchildren, Isaac and Ellie Hester, siblings, Harold Reynolds, Roger Reynolds, Terri Coatney, and Mike Reynolds, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, including Anna Coatney, Megan Stepp, Jeremy Reynolds, Alecia Swenson, Shay Eckard, and Trent Reynolds. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Gene and Anna Ruth Reynolds, her grandson, Murphy Hester, her brother, Rob Reynolds, and her nephew, Duke Coatney.
A memorial service will be held this coming Sunday, October 27th, at Knoxville First Seventh-day Adventist Church. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, followed by a short memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Knoxville First Seventh-day Adventist Church Building Fund at https://www.knoxvillefirstsda… to honor Karen's memory.
