Karen Adams Guennel, 68, passed away peacefully on February 17th, 2021 at Casa de la Luz Hospice in Tucson, Arizona. Karen was born in Cleveland, OH and grew up in Fairview Park, Ohio. She graduated from Magnificat high school and became a Cosmetologist, then an entrepreneur owning her own beauty shop in South Bend, Indiana for a few years. Karen also worked in management at a cable company in South Bend. Karen married soon after graduating from high school and moved to Rochester, NY, then South Bend, IN where she lived most of the rest of her life raising her family and working on her career. Karen had a wonderful sense of humor with a dry wit. She very much loved her family and maintained a strong faith throughout her life. She was fearless in taking chances in both life and relationships. She was unflappable as her life required moving several times, as she and her husband built a house, and when she left an employed position to become an entrepreneur back before it was common to do so. Karen was predeceased by her parents, Alice and Arlington Adams of Fairview Park, Ohio and her second husband Ashok Bajpai. She is survived by her two sons, Branden Guennel and Brett Guennel (Amy), her grandchildren, Anthony Guennel, Anna Guennel, and Maddie Guennel, her sister Barbara Berger (Stephan) and her ex-husband, Erwin F. Guennel, Jr.
