Karen Lorene Godshall Hicks passed into eternity Wednesday, January 19, 2022. She was born May 22, 1949, Pennsylvania. Prior to her passing, she lived in Dallas, Texas. Karen met her future husband, Darryl Hicks, at Bob Jones University, Greenville, South Carolina. They were betrothed August 14, 1971, and had just celebrated 50 years of marriage. Karen is predeceased by her mother, Mary Nase Allebach; her father, Harold Allebach, and her maternal grandparents, Herbert and Olivia (Price) Nase. Karen is survived by her husband, Darryl Hicks; daughter, Charnee (James) Barker; son, David Hicks; sister, Sharon (Michael) Curry; and seven grandchildren, Daniel Hicks, Richard Bennington, Adam Hooper, Kevin Hooper, Taylor Moreno, Dylan Hicks, and Jacob Hicks.
