Karen's obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Karen Giorda on May 2, 2024. Karen was born to her parents, Louise and Joseph Giorda, on February 28, 1966. Karen's wit, kindness, passion, love, and humor touched everyone around her and these attributes will continue to live in our hearts.
Karen was a fiercely loving individual, who was always ready to fight for the right causes. Her mantra of 'Love fiercely, never stop fighting' is a testament to her unwavering spirit and will continue to guide those who knew her.
Her laughter and jokes always lightened up the room and she remained a strong pillar of support to her close-knit family. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kara Leyva, her son Nikolas Giorda, her sister Pamela Tower, her brothers Craig Noto and Gregory Beversdorf. In addition, she was blessed with two grandchildren, who were born on December 8, 2014, and May 13, 2019, respectively, both of whom brought immense joy and happiness to her life.
Not one to let anyone bear a burden, Karen found happiness in the togetherness of her family, friends, and loved ones. For those looking to pay their respect and help in any way, a fund has been set up to aid with Karen's funeral expenses at the following URL: https://everloved.com/life-of…
