Karen Frey was born to Albert and Virginia Stegeman on October 16, 1951. Karen graduated from St Pius X High School in 1969. She went on to get her Bachelor's Degree in Education from NW Missouri State where she graduated in 1973. Karen taught 3rd grade at St Augustine grade school in Kansas City and Norclay in North Kansas City for 7 years. She went to work for her father at A&B Printing Service in 1980 and became President. She retired in 2003. On June 25th, 1977 Karen married Robert Frey at St Patrick's church in Kansas City.

Karen's favorite past times were taking road trips, seeing the country and enhancing her backseat driving skills.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Virginia Stegeman. She is survived by her husband Robert Frey, sisters Cathy Doherty, Cynthia Hoenig, and brother Jon Stegeman. No services are scheduled. Donations in leau of flowers may be sent to
