Karen's obituary
In Loving Memory of Karen Sue Fletcher-beautiful soul who left this world far too soon, passed away on January 25th at the age of 66 at her home in Burbank, Ca. Her absence leaves a void in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy Gadberry and daughter, Leah Naeole. Her love and devotion to family extended to her nephews, Eric and Anthony Fletcher and niece Angelia Russell.
She is also survived by Dale Fletcher, her second eldest brother. He has been a supportive brother and friend to Karen her entire life and often shared many childhood stories of them. He also has been another pillar in our family, alongside her, in keeping our family close.
Karen was also loved by life partner Craig Graf, who was a very big part of her life. They were very close at heart, sharing many interests, long conversations, vacations, laughs, and love. Her children witnessed his endless care, compassion and affection that brightened her life.
In addition to her children, Karen immensely loved her fur children, Bailey, Piston, Maxx, Cam and Nala, adding more joy and happiness to her life.
Karen's love and devotion radiated beyond her own children but to many. Her nurturing spirit and open heart made everyone she encountered, feel like family. She had a way of making people feel seen, loved, and valued, a gift that will live on in those who carry her memory.
She was a passionate fan of the Dodgers, rarely missing a game and always cheering with her whole heart. Whether they won or lost, her love for the team was unwavering. Music was another of her great joys, and the songs of Jackson Browne often filled her home and brought her peace. His lyrics held a special place in her heart, reflecting her profound love of life and deep emotional connection to the world around her.
Karen had a radiant smile, a warm laugh, and an endless capacity to give. She was the heart of her family and a pillar of her community. She taught us all about resilience, love, and the importance of cherishing the little things.
Along with countless friends and loved ones, her light will forever be missed.
A celebration of her life will be held on 02/15/2025 at Castaway Restaurant in Burbank, CA(RSVP invitation). In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to her webpage on Ever Loved to help fulfill her final wishes.
Rest easy, Karen! You are loved beyond measure and will be missed more than words can ever express.
