We are profoundly sad to announce the death of Karen Ann Drechsler, who passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loved ones, on October 21, 2023, after battling pancreatic cancer.

Karen was born in Mechanicville, NY, on July 16, 1953. After raising her family in Rochester, NY, she relocated to Atlanta, GA, where she had the joy of watching her grandchildren grow up.

Karen had a loving heart and contagious spirit and will be missed by many. She made friends everywhere she went and cared deeply for others. Always strong-willed, Karen fought to the very end with grace, dignity, integrity, and courage.

Karen was predeceased by her mother, Carmina Zeppetelli, and her father, Nicholas “Windy” Zeppetelli. She is survived by her daughters, Sarah, Erica, and Laura, and grandchildren, Lila, Abby, Hollie, Wyatt, Milo, and Arden. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Jean Zeppetelli.

In lieu of flowers, we invite you to donate to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a charity that was close to her heart.
