Karen's obituary
Karen Marie DesRuisseau, aged 55, passed away on July 3rd, 2025, in Rocky Point, North Carolina. Born April 4th, 1970 in Neptune, New Jersey, Karen graced the lives of those around her with warmth and kindness throughout her journey.
Karen dedicated many years to her role as Logistics Planner at the Coca-Cola Bottling Company, where her diligence and integrity earned the admiration of her colleagues. Beyond her professional life, Karen found immense joy in cooking and cherished gathering with her family, especially during the holiday season. She held dear memories of her late mother, Elezabeth "Betty" Ostuni Sapp, whom she deeply missed. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her daughter Corinne Huetter and Michael Keim; her son, Corey Huetter, both residing in Wall Township, New Jersey; her brothers, Theodore "Teddy" Sapp of Ontario, Canada, and Gregory "Greg" Sapp of Ohio; her sister, Lisa Sapp of Asbury, New Jersey; and her adored feline companions Daisy, Dori, and Forrest.
Although no formal service is planned, a celebration of Keren's life will take place on October 25th, 2025, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at her daughter's residence in Wall Township. Family and friends are invited to come together in remembrance of Karen's remarkable life and enduring legacy.
