Karen's obituary

Karen Ann Coyle, 63, of Chicago, passed away on November 9th, 2023, from ovarian cancer.

Karen was born on January 15th, 1960, to Gerald and Ann Coyle in Chicago. She was the very best mother of two children, Brooke Coyle and Kimberly (Aaron) Webb. Karen was the always fun and incredibly loving grandmother to Lorelei, Samantha, and Logan. Karen was predeceased by her parents, Ann and Gerald, and her brother, Kevin Coyle.

Despite saying she hated to volunteer, Karen was a remarkable woman who spent her entire life volunteering to help those around her through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. It didn’t matter how far you were. If you needed: to go to the doctor, get groceries, go to a garage sale, have someone to sit with your kids or pets, do scholarship applications, have someone to call customer service for you, dumpster drive, host a bingo game, buy fireworks, or simply just hold your hand, she would be there. She was the person you would call in any sort of emergency or if you just wanted to talk for a few hours. Karen was a long-time member of T.O.P.S. where she made many happy memories and lifelong friends. She had a gift for seeing and bringing out the best in those around her. Her love for others knew no bounds.

Karen was a singular woman who could never be replicated or replaced.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate it if you could share a special memory on the digital guestbook or contribute to funeral expenses at the following link: https://gofund.me/c5e8fb14

There will be a celebration of life with a small service at Lawn Funeral Home 7909 State Rd, Burbank, IL 60459, on the evening of Monday, November 13th 2023 from 3 to 8pm.
