Karen's obituary
Karen Coger, a radiant soul known for her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor, passed away on June 14, 2024. Born on March 25, 1950, Karen left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her patience, forgiveness, and unquenchable zest for life will forever be etched in our hearts.
Family was at the heart of Karen's world. She is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa Morgan, and her devoted son-in-law, Jason Morgan. Her legacy lives on in her treasured granddaughter, Katherine Morgan. Karen's brothers, Dan and Pat Coger, as well as her sister, Marti Elliott, and her brother-in-law, Don Elliott, mourn her loss but celebrate the joy she brought into their lives.
Karen was predeceased by her mother, Grace Coger; her father, Coval Coger; and her brothers, Al, Jim, and Jerry Coger. They welcomed her with open arms to her eternal rest.
An animal lover at heart, Karen's fondness for horses and cats often brought joy to those around her. However, it was her golden retriever, Amber, who held a special place in her heart.
Her recreational pursuits, including reading, gardening, and cooking, brought a smile to her face and comfort to her soul. She found peace in the simplest things and had a unique ability to find joy in every situation.
A Funeral service to celebrate Karen's life will be held on July 13, 2024, at 7:00 PM at St. John Catholic Cemetery. We invite those who had the pleasure of knowing Karen to join us in honoring her memory.
While her presence will be deeply missed, we take solace in the life lessons she imparted and the countless joyful moments she created. Karen's love for her family, deep-rooted values, and innate kindness will continue to inspire us. Her legacy of love and laughter will forever be remembered.
