Dear friends and family,
With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of our beloved Karen on Thursday, February 1st, after bravely battling colon cancer for four years. Karen was not just a mother, a wife, a daughter, and a sister; she was the heartbeat of our family, and her strength and resilience inspired us all.
Throughout Karen's journey, our family invested everything we had—emotionally, physically, and financially—in her battle and recovery. Unfortunately, the financial toll has left us without the means to cover the expenses associated with her funeral.
In the wake of this devastating loss, we are reaching out to our community for support. We have set up the Karen Castillo Memorial Fund on Ever Loved to alleviate the financial burden on our family during this challenging time. Your contribution, no matter the amount, will help us give Karen the farewell she deserves and ease the strain on our family.

Con el corazón apesadumbrado, compartimos la noticia del fallecimiento de nuestra querida Karen el jueves 1 de febrero, después de librar una valiente batalla contra el cáncer de colon durante cuatro años. Karen no era solo una madre, esposa, hija y hermana; era el latido de nuestra familia, y su fuerza y resistencia nos inspiraron a todos.
A lo largo de la travesía de Karen, nuestra familia invirtió todo lo que teníamos: emocional, física y financieramente, en su lucha y recuperación. Desafortunadamente, el costo financiero nos ha dejado sin los medios para cubrir los gastos asociados con su funeral.
En medio de esta pérdida devastadora, recurrimos a nuestra comunidad en busca de apoyo.
