Karen was always so kind to everyone, i have so many memories of sitting in the back of her car next to Mariah all laughing as we talked about the most random things. She always loved my stories and she always listened and would remember them and bring them up again another time, which just shows the kind of person she was and how much she cared. Im forever going to miss her laugh and her making me feel at home anytime i came over to their place. Im going to miss going on hiking trips and visits to the pool with her, Neil, and Mariah. I just know her laughter and amazing singing voice is just resounding in heaven. Church wont feel the same with her absence but i know shes proudly watching us from Heaven as she dances and sings with all her heart right there with Jesus. She always treated me like family, that was her super power. I love her so much and am going to miss her with my whole heart.
Karen was always a beam of light and joy. I can still hear her laughing and it makes me smile. I loved worshipping with her and listening to her tell a story. I frequently called her the Jesus loving Goldie because she reminded me of Goldie Hawn.  I always admired Karen for her passion and love for Jesus. Her hunger to know God more stirred me to as well. I will miss her immensely and wish we could go paddle boarding together again. I’m excited to dance and worship Jesus with her again some day. Until then I know she’s saving me a spot right up front and close by the throne.
Karen was a dear woman of God and a sweet friend.  I met her at church and she radiated beauty and joy with her smile and rambunctious laugh.   She loved her family dearly and she had such a gift in the way she played her guitar and sang songs of worship.  In years past, she danced in the church service as part of her devotion and worship to the Lord and she was so graceful.  I will miss her, but her bright smile will remain in my mind.  Rest in the arms of Jesus sweet Karen.  Love you and I know we will meet in heaven again. 💜😘 - Kim Nye
