Karen Ann (Harvey) Brown passed away peacefully surrounded by love on July, 27th 2024. Up until the end Karen maintained her kindness, humor, love of watching a cardinals game with her husband, appreciation of beauty, and love of family and friends.

Karen was the heart and soul of our home and family. Karen was an exemplary mother, wife, and human being. She encompassed the best of qualities: unconditional love, unending generosity, silliness, and kindness.

Karen was magic to her grandchildren. She is remembered by her hearty laugh (just ask Belle to show you how Grandma laughs) and kind heart. It was her joy to spoil her two grandchildren and show them new experiences. Soren will always consider anywhere with his grandma and grandpa his second home.

Karen was a dedicated hard worker, providing for her family throughout her life. She had a successful career and is remembered by her colleagues as a leader and mentor to many. During her tenure, she broke through countless barriers and received many awards celebrating her work.

Predeceased by her parents: Paul and Shirley Harvey, Karen's memory will be cherished and kept alive by her husband Andrew, her children: Jessica (Patrick) and Melissa (Ryan), grandchildren: Soren and Belle, sister Sharon (Dewey), brothers: Steve (Terry), Mike (Carla), and Dave (Christina), wonderful aunt & great aunt to many, and a community that was better for her presence.
