Kandi's obituary
Kandi Crill was the sixth child born to loving parents, Richard "Dick" and Margaret Crill. Kandi was born on May 9, 1964; or "May knife" as she reminded people throughout the years. Kandi was loved dearly and protected by her four older brothers, Kelly, Rikk, Kerry and Mike.
She attended Greenhurst grade school, Fruitland High School and Middleton High School. Kandi had an admiration for horses, art, writing, painting, and reading books. She had a great sense of humor and quick wit, which she got from her Dad. Kandi had a love for sunflowers, Johnny Depp, Coke and Coffee.
She enjoyed being a teacher and bus driver, for Head Start. She later worked on VIP cases at DirecTV, office of the president; where she took pride in being selected for special art projects. Kandi had an appreciation for her friends from all around the world. Kandi always advocated for others and loved learning about other cultures. She had a deep love for family and helping others; values instilled by her Mom and passed down to her kids and grandkids.
She had an unconditional love for her daughters Breanne Brothers and Keako Sweet and her son in laws Josh Brothers and Zachary Sweet. More than anything Kandi's greatest pride, love and joy was for her grandchildren, Kameron, Luke, Lacey and Sammy. Kandi has been an amazing, encouraging and involved “Gigi Tattoo”. She would often light up talking about them all and sharing stories and pictures. She wanted her grandbabies to know to “have confidence in being authentically and unapologetically themselves, Just do your best in all things, that’s enough and that Gigi loves you more.” Kandi also loved being asked about her “granddogs” Bella, Penny and Lucky; that brought her laughter and joy.
Kandi always said "Just do your best!" She did her best but after years of battling physical and mental health, she is now resting in peace. She passed away Sunday April 7, 2024. Mom, we know you did your best and we love you! You will always be so loved and missed.
The family would like to thank the Nurses and staff at Wellsprings and Liberty Dialysis. With special thanks to Andrea, Penny and Norma.
