On October 2, 2022 Kan Xi Luo at the age of 58 passed away peacefully with his wife Helen
(Ming) Pei Pei at his side as well as his children.  Kan Xi faced his illness with courage, grace and dignity.

He was surrounded by those that meant the most to him, his grand kids and two boys spent all together. Kan Xi always lit up a room with his smile and the ever-present sparkle in his eye. Throughout his life he enjoyed carting his sons around to various horse events, farming, curling, volunteering as a fire fighter, and sharing stories at one of the local pubs, curling club or out on the farm. Kan Xi is survived by his wife of 23 years, Ming Pei Pei; sons Danny and Rob and granddaughters Tam and Charlyse. 

We are ever thankful to the staff at VJH. He tried hard to know all of your names and a little bit about your life. Thank you for taking such good care of him during his stays at the hospital.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in his name to the Haugen Community Health Care Society (PO Box 495, Armstrong, BC V0E 1B0) or the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation (2101-32nd St., Vernon, BC V1T 5L2).

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00am at Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services (2980 Smith Drive, Armstrong, BC).
