Kan-I Diana Chao, age 53, died peacefully on September 17, 2023 at Huntington Memorial Hospital.

Diana was born on February 22,1970 in Keelung, Taiwan to Chi Hwa Liu and Kuo Sheng Chao. As a child, she was a loving and good daughter, always putting the family before herself. In August of 1988, she immigrated with her family to the United States. Diana attended California State University at Fullerton as a full time student while working full time to pay for her tuition.  She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.  Diana also went on to attend Loyola Marymount University, where she received her Master of Arts Degree in Secondary Education. Since 1991, she worked alongside her mother, quickly becoming a talented and devoted Mandarin teacher. She taught for more than thirty years, touching many lives with her passion and drive. In 2003, Diana and her mother created AP Academy, forming their own after-school program where they taught students Mandarin, as well as the Chinese culture and traditions. Diana was a devoted educator, refusing to give up on any student, no matter the struggle. Everyone that she taught saw her passion and dedication, studying hard and achieving great feats. Her students have grown up to become important figures in society, also helping others as she had helped them. Later, she worked at Wilson Elementary School, guiding more students and working tirelessly.

Diana was a force of life that will always remain with us. She always believed in people and their potential. Even though her time here was cut short, there is no doubt that she is still inspiring us all and will continue to do so for years to come. She is the kind of soul that stays with you forever.

Diana is survived by her parents Frank Chao and Lucy Liu; her daughter, Audrey Lin; her brother, Michael Chao; and her nephew, Frederick Chao.

趙侃儀 Kan-I Diana Chao 於2023年9月17日因病逝於Huntington Memorial Hospital。享年53歲。生之旅程雖不長，但寬闊壯麗。是好女兒，好媽媽，好手足，好老師。在每一個角色上都不遗餘力，做到盡善盡美。

Diana一九八八年八月隨父母移民來美國。勤學向上，半工半讀的於California State University, Fullerton完成學業。接著又繼續在Loyola Marymount University 讀完語言學碩士。從一九九零年開始，在中文學校工作，學習教學和管理。耳濡目染幾年以後，青出於藍而勝於藍。受她教導的學生，沒有一個不敬爱她。各個都努力上進，人人成大器。現在都成為社會的精英，包括醫生，律師，科技人才和會計師...等，桃李滿天下。她也曾經在Wilson Elementary School工作，並通過了許多教師資格考試。

Diana 從小就特别乖巧，百善孝為先！她的人生中第一個獎項是小學二年级得到的孝親模範獎。她獨自養育一個女兒現在已經大學畢業，目前正服務社會，今後會繼續深造。她一直克守孝順這一中國的傳统思想，離世前也特别交代女兒要繼續代她行孝。雖然她是一個平凡的人，但她做所有的事情都是盡心盡力，一直以來也得到大家的尊重和爱。

Diana 留下来的家属有: 父 - 趙國盛, 母 - 劉志華, 女 - 林美貝, 弟 - 趙軒儀, 侄 - 趙乾佑。
