Kamari Jones, age 15, passed away on May 28, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. Born on September 16, 2008, in the same city he called home throughout his life, Kamari brought warmth and compassion to those around him from an early age.

A student with dreams and determination, Kamari was attending Horn High School but had set his heart on transferring to Hillcrest High School for his sophomore year. Though circumstances led him down a different path, his affection for Hillcrest remained strong—a reflection of how deeply he felt about the things that mattered to him.

Kamari was known by those who knew him as a kind and loving boy. He had the sweetest heart and a gentle spirit that shone through in everything he did. Always putting others before himself, Kamari’s selflessness left a lasting impression on friends and family alike. His quiet strength and caring nature made him someone people could count on—a rare soul whose presence brought comfort and light.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Linda Jones; his father, Steve; his older brother, Kai; and his little sister, Stephanie. Their lives were enriched by Kamari’s love and will forever carry the memory of his generous heart.
