I was really shocked and saddened to hear about her passing. Kalpna Aunty is a beautiful soul which she exhibited through her beauty, grace, kindness, curiosity and generosity and her memories will always live in my heart with a few lovely moments that we shared together. I send her my deepest gratitude and love. I pray that her soul rest in peace and be comforted by Divine.🙏🕉️💜🕉️🙏

I had the pleasure of meeting Kalpana ji and Pankaj ji a few years ago at a function organized by Ritu Didi. Even though it was a brief interaction, it left a lasting impression on me. Within moments of speaking with Kalpana ji, I sensed there was something truly special about her. Her graceful presence, quiet confidence, and genuine warmth stood out. She served us  homemade ‘malpoa’ which melted in our mouth . I truly treasure our first interaction. 

Over the years we met at multiple occasions celebrating numerous festivals together ,, raising toast on milestone events and each time it was her thoughtful conversation , grace , passion for life and love for all that left a lasting impression and made every interaction enjoyable. 

I wish to remember her by all these qualities and as a person who touched multiple soul with her generous presence. May you rest in peace ….

For the first time I met Kalpana bhabhi after her marriage with Pankaj at Mahendru residence at Patna one year 1982 I found her a very warm hearted and a very simple lady We have been meeting very sparsely yet underlying affection with Pankaj and Kalpana Bhabhi remained as strong bond which manifested in fiesty interactions whenever we met

It was a wrong time for you to sign off so suddenly perhaps Almighty has his own plans and we all have to bear the loss with a pang

We were heartbroken and deeply shocked to hear about the sudden passing of Kalpana. It is hard to put into words the sadness we feel. Kalpana was a dear friend to us for so many years—her warmth, kindness, and quiet strength touched our lives in ways we will always carry with us.

Please know that we are grieving with you. We can only imagine how deep your sorrow must be. Losing someone so close, so loved, so integral to your life, leaves a void that nothing can truly fill. But we hope you feel the love that surrounds you now—yours, hers, and ours.

Kalpana’s spirit will live on in the many beautiful memories she created, the love she gave so generously, and the lives she touched. In time, may her memory become a gentle comfort, and may you find moments of peace in the love and support of those who care for you.

Pushpa, I, and our entire family are deeply saddened to hear about Kalpna Mami’s passing. Pushpa knew her from her childhood days in Madhubani, as they lived nearby, and Kalpna Mami was close friends with her older sister. Pushpa still fondly remembers attending her wedding with Pankaj Mama and the joy and warmth that surrounded her even back then.

Our bond with Mami grew even stronger after we moved to the U.S. in 2001. Over the years, we shared so many beautiful memories - spending weekends together at their home in New Jersey or hosting them during their visits to us in Ithaca.

Mami had such a friendly personality - always caring, loving, and full of life. Her ever-present smile and warm and calm demeanor made everyone feel instantly comfortable and welcomed. She had a way of lighting up every room she entered and was an integral part of so many of our family milestones and celebrations.

Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled. Pushpa, the kids, and I send our heartfelt condolences to Pankaj Mama, Sunny, Simmy and entire family. We will miss her greatly and cherish the memories of her kindness, joy, and beautiful spirit forever. May they find strength and comfort in this difficult time.
