Kaitlin Regan Gudino, 29, of Fresno died unexpectedly on January 25,2021. Her loss was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.

Kate was born on July 18, 1991 to Dana and Jim Regan in Newport Beach, California. Kate attended Mater Dei High School and was passionate about her studies. She followed in her sister's footsteps and joined the track team, where she made life long friends while learning to throw shotput and discus. After graduating high school, Kate moved to Fresno with her parents and enrolled at FCC to continue her education. It was there that she discovered her true passion, journalism. Kate worked as both a reporter and editor for her school's newspaper, The Rampage. During her time there the paper won multiple awards and many of her fellow staff members became her best friends and honorary family members. This was also where she met Ramiro, a photographer for the paper that Kate would fall in love with and eventually marry.

Anyone who knew Kate knew that she was incredibly loyal, a supportive friend, and always made people laugh. She had an amazingly dry sense of humor and that combined with her quick wit kept people laughing for hours. Kate's family and friends will miss her more than words can say.
