Kain's obituary
Kain Dante McAllister left this earth on August 4th, 2024 in Aurora, Colorado. She was born on Christmas Eve of 2002 in Los Angeles, California and since then, has been a light in everyone’s life she came across.
Kain was a beautiful, angelic soul who met any challenge she faced with dignity and strength. Her sobriety date is 12/17/2021, in which she was extremely proud of, as she should have been. She then bravely moved to Denver, Colorado. After discovering her calling tonthe EMS field, she began work at Apex Paramedics where she quickly excelled in her profession, and ultimately became a trainer while attending Arizona State University online. She then began working for Denver Health Hospital which was a goal she strived to accomplish for many years.
She leaves behind her parents, Steven and Jill McAllister, her sister Sami and her brother Sean. Kain is also survived by loving grandparents Marty and Barbara Bargas, John and Gail McAllister as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She leaves behind a family of her own she made in Colorado who cherished her, her rescue cat, and copious friends both in Colorado and Texas.
Kain was known to be an incredible artist who loved the unloved- she adored collecting oddities, the color black, tattoos, and enjoyed discovering historic cemeteries in the Colorado Rockies. When not at work, Kain was always in the mountains and trying something new.
As per Kain’s wishes, below is a poem she wants us all to remember as we mourn her. We all thank you for the 21 years, 7 months, and 11 amazing days you were on this earth. You will never be forgotten. You will be missed, we love you Kain.
