Background
It's hard watching someone you love struggle with their mental health. It's worse when you know they could benefit from professional help.
Misconception about mental health and therapy has intensified stigma in society. Someone may be aware that they need help, but may be afraid to seek it if they think you will judge or treat them differently.
Please encourage and support counseling before it is too late.

Sports are associated with lower rates of stress, anxiety, depression, and suicidal behavior. Participation in team sports reduces the risk of teen substance abuse and other reckless behaviors. Team sports enhance resilience, empathy, confidence and empowerment. Contribute to New Hampshire Catholic Charities
