It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Justin Ritz, a man of great intelligence, artistic prowess, compassion, and loyalty. Justin was born on October 3, 1981, and departed from us far too soon on April 24, 2024.

A gifted individual, Justin held an Associates of Applied Science degree from Le Cordon Bleu Portland, which he proudly earned in 2007. Beyond his academics, he was a distinguished athlete who left an indelible mark as the starting point guard in the Iowa Boys High School Championship.

Yet, amid all his achievements, it was Justin's character that truly defined him. He was always there to lend a hand to a friend in need, valuing the well-being of others above all else. His heartwarming presence and unwavering loyalty will be deeply missed.

Justin leaves behind his brother, John Ritz, his nephew, Quil Ritz, his sister-in-law, Sara Ritz, and his father, Gerold Ritz. His love for his family was undeniable, and their bond was unshakeable.

His legacy is one of unwavering kindness and loyalty. Justin had a unique ability to make the people around him feel valued. His absence creates a void that can never be filled, but his memory will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to know him.

While we mourn the loss of a remarkable individual, we also celebrate a life well lived. Justin Ritz, you have enriched our lives, and we are infinitely grateful for the time we had with you.
