I knew June from her days at Belmont Church of Christ in Dayton, Ohio. I remember her warm alto voice and the beautiful smile she was always wearing, almost as if someone had just told her a funny story. You could always count on her to pitch in and help with whatever needed doing. She carried a positive attitude with her wherever she went. She was truly a beautiful soul.
Gene, Rod and Denise: Gary and I are praying for your peace as your memories continue to flood your minds. We were friends for years at Belmont. She is loved by many.
So sorry to hear of your loss. I had talked to Gene to find out she had cancer, and my wife had cancer too. They passed away a day apart. My sympathy goes out to Gene and the whole Sears family.
I will always remember the summer visits you and Grandpa Charlie made to see me on the way to and from Vegas. You all always had the best stories between the two of you.
