June was born in Pittsburgh, PA, went to Mt. Lebanon High School, Casements Prep School and Florida Southern College. She married Robert Schmidt and had two daughters. June's activities included Co-Chairman of WQED Fund raising, the DAR, Republican committee woman and golf. June and her husband in their retirement years moved to sunny Florida.
