It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of June Praetorius, a remarkable woman whose adventurous spirit, boundless love, and inherent freedom touched many lives. Born on the 6th of April, 1961, June journeyed onwards to her next adventure on the 8th of August, 2025. She graced our lives with her presence for sixty-four inspiring years.

June was the proud mother of five children, whose lives she greatly infused with her vivacious spirit. Her children, Gerald Praetorius, Jackie Praetorius, Jessica Barker, Joyce Praetorius, and Joanne Praetorius, are her beloved survivors. Her love for them was immeasurable, and she often proclaimed that they, along with her cherished grandchildren, were amongst her greatest accomplishments.

June's life was a testament to her adventurous, loving, and free-spirited nature. She embodied a love for life that was contagious to those around her, encouraging all she met to live fully and freely, just as she did. Her memory will forever be kept alive through the lives of her children and grandchildren, her tangible legacies to this world.

As we mourn June's passing, let us also celebrate the life she lived with such vivacity. Though she may be physically absent, her influence and spirit continue to radiate through the lives of those she loved. Though our hearts are heavy, they are also full of the love and joy that June brought into our lives. Her memory will continue to inspire us and her spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
