I just learned about June’s passing. I am so sorry. I know she’ll be greatly missed. She’s in a much better place with no pain . I pray that her family find peace and healing. Much love, Evelyn

I met June when my husband and I moved to Temple,TX from Virginia. We lived next door to June and I fell in love with June and Jake right away. June had such a quick wit I adored. And who didn’t love Jake? I spent every morning with Jake (while June battled cancer) walking the streets of our neighborhood, giving June an opportunity to rest. I loved doing that for June because she loved Jake so much. The only thing she loved more was her family. Unfortunately they were not around much. June talked about them all the time, and could not wait for the next opportunity to share time with her family. Her story is definitely a one to remind us of how important it is to spend time with family and tell them how much you love them. Tomorrow is never promised to anybody. I am so thankful that I was able to share time with this beautiful lady, although short. Now June is with her best friend,Jake, taking him on long walks as well as being with her Mom and other family members she had missed so much. Rest in love dear friend.

I am sorry to hear of June's passing. I met her 30+ years ago at work. She was a great mentor and became a good friend. She kept my parents company at the hospital with the birth of my first child. Loved keeping in touch over FB with her while we could. Wishing you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
