Juliya's obituary

Juliya passed away on April 20, 2024, and was laid to rest at United Hebrew Cemetery (Plot 122-17-6). Born on August 16, 1988, she was a talented chef who pursued her passion with unwavering determination. Sneakily joining the French Culinary Institute while in pharmacy school, she didn't just follow her dreams; she chased them down with a fierce determination that inspired everyone around her.

Juliya's culinary prowess was unmatched, honed through secret rendezvous at the French Culinary Institute and collaborations with icons like Baked by Melissa, Donald Trump, and Martha Stewart.

But, Juliya wasn't just about work; she lived for adventure. Summers on the beach in Seagate with her siblings & grandma, spontaneous trips to far-off lands, and nights filled with card games and laughter were just a few of the many memories she created along the way.

Her love for life extended beyond the kitchen, as she found joy in writing, art, photography, and traveling. With a passport full of stamps and an appetite for spontaneous adventures, she radiated infectious energy wherever she went. When it came to advice, she didn't hold back—whether you asked for it or not! But beneath her tough exterior and occasionally sharp tongue, beat a heart of gold, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.

Her assertiveness, quick wit, and dark humor could halt conversations and ignite joy in any room she entered.

Juliya's friends and family meant the world to her, and she constantly pushed them to strive for more. She was a guiding light, inspiring others to pursue their dreams fearlessly.

And who could forget her love for gummy bears? Or her insatiable appetite for new foods and experiences? Juliya was a woman who savored every moment, who blazed her own trail through life with a tenacity and courage that left us all in awe.

At 35 years old, Juliya's time with us was tragically short, but her impact was immeasurable. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, kindness, and boundless ambition—a testament to a life lived on her terms, guided by her heart's desires. Juliya's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
