Julius Murray, Sr. was born in Kingsville, SC and was a resident of Hopkins, SC, died 9/8/19 in North Augusta, SC. He was 81 years old.

Survivors include his spouse; Children: Carman Williams- Murray, NYC, NY, Julius Murray, Jr. of Hopkins, SC, Sharon Banister, and Julia Mountain Columbia, SC) and eight grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

Two brothers Dwight(Alpheia) Murray and Oliver (Mattie)Murray and a sister. Pre deceased by parents and siblings Joseph Murray, Bennie Murray and Ruby Murray Johnson.

Funeral was held September 16, 2019 in Columbia, SC was held at First Nazareth Baptist Church with burial at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
