Background
We have chosen two organizations that were important to Jules.
ProsperityME: Since the early 2000s, Jules supported the Central African community in Maine and in Africa. Jules got to know Claude Rwanganje, the founder of ProsperityME, through his work with Central Africa Vision, founded by Claude's brother Mutima Peters. ProsperityME empowers refugee and immigrant communities to invest in themselves so they can build financial stability, careers, businesses, and wealth. They provide financial education and counseling to improve their quality of life.
Ocean Park Association: For the past decade Jules and Barbara have called the Ocean Park/Old Orchard Beach home and they have loved walking the neighborhood and the beach and connecting with neighbors and visitors. Ocean Park Association supports the natural beauty of the area and engages neighbors and visitors to participate in a wide range of spiritual, educational, cultural, and recreational programs Contribute to Prosperityme
