Julio's obituary
Julio was always a very creative and artistic person, and loved gifting his art to his family. He also loved the outdoors and nature, and had a natural talent with gardening and landscaping. Prior to his illness he was working at a restaurant, and working toward fullfilling his dream of opening his own business.
Julio was born in Mexico City, Mexico, but had been a resident here in the U.S. for many years. Julio made everyone around him smile, and had an infectious laugh. He cared very deeply for all his friends and family, and was loved just as deeply in return.
He is survived by his wife, Erika Mendiola, his son, Bryce Peal, who Julio said was "the light of his living days", his stepchildren, Suleima Estefanny Mendiola, Jesús Eduardo Mendiola, and Karla Joanna Mendiola, who were all very special to him, his twin brother, Jose Noe and brothers Roberto, Hector and Manuel, his sisters Patricia and Jeanette, and his father, Ruben. He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Barragan. Funeral arrangements to be announced at a later date.
John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”
