Background

Julie Omer Quinn was a carrier of the Hemophilia B gene and fearlessly raised two boys with the bleeding disorder in a rural state where the nearest treatment center was nearly three hours away. The National Hemophilia Foundation provides education to, research for, and advocacy on behalf of families coping with genetic bleeding disorders.
