Julie's obituary
Julie Theresa Mayfield, of Greenville, NH, passed away unexpectedly on January 25, 2022 at the young age of 36. She was born on November 1, 1985 in Concord, Massachusetts to John and Mary (Riley) Taylor. Julie was a rambunctious child, full of energy and light, giving her parents a run for their money and entertainment, alike. She blossomed into a funny, loving woman with a contagious laugh and a smile that lit up her beautiful blue eyes. She loved singing, especially Miranda Lambert, cooking, dancing and being goofy with her family and friends. Julie cared deeply and was very passionate about helping others, lifting them up, and focusing on the good in people.
Julie spent her childhood playing in the Pines of Pepperell with her brother, Joe, and other friends from the neighborhood. Julie went on to spend her high school years at Nashoba Valley Technical High School. She dabbled in many different courses of work throughout her life, most recently at the Dunkin’ in Peterborough where she shared her love of coffee and customer service with great co-workers who became great friends. But of all jobs Julie held, her favorite, and the one she was most proud of, was being a mom and a wife. She loved and cherished her kids and her husband more than anything and she took advantage of every chance she got to declare her affection and appreciation of them, never taking for granted how lucky she felt to have them. It was a pleasure to watch her enjoy them and love them unconditionally.
Julie is survived by her husband, Brad Mayfield, her children, Brayden, Liberty, Nicholas, and Gracie, her loyal dog, James, and cats Hunter and Salem. Julie is also survived by her parents, her father-in-law, John Polhamus, her brother, Joe Taylor and his wife Chantelle, nephew, Harrison and niece, Lilah, sister-in-laws Victoria and Rosie , brother-in-laws Dakota, Russell, and Kurt, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends. Julie was predeceased by her maternal and paternal grandparents, her mother-in-law, Sally Polhamus, her aunt Gail Taylor, and uncles John Riley and Joseph Riley.
A memorial reception will be held in remembrance of Julie on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 12pm-3pm at the Puritan Conference Center, 245 Hooksett Rd., Manchester, NH.
