Julie King (Karterud) went home to Jesus on December 17, 2023 at age 70.

Julie was born to Arvin and Lenore Karterud on October 03, 1953 in New London, Connecticut.  Julie attended Waterford High School. Julie was a proud mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and loving and faithful Christian.

Julie is survived and deeply missed by her daughter, Megan Lewin, her granddaughter, Hailey Lewin, her grandsons, Blake Lewin and Matthew Purdie, her granddaughter-in-law, Bree Purdie, and her great grandsons, Luca Purdie and soon-to-be Grayson Purdie.

Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Arvin and Lenore Karterud, and both of her sons, William (Billy) Earl Edgin and Marc Travis Edgin.

Julie was a devoted member of Faith Baptist Church of Knightsville, SC, where she worshipped. Julie enjoyed going to church, playing piano, crocheting, and reading. 

Memorial services will be held on January 27, 2024, at 3pm at Faith Baptist Church in Knightsville, SC.
