Julie Francis Bigelow, passed away on April 1st, 2024. Her final few weeks were spent with friends and family while sharing many wonderful memories and stories.

She had an infectious smile and she brought so much happiness and joy to anyone who was around her. She loved the beach, spending time outdoors and just being in the warm sunshine as she hated cold weather. But her favorite time was being around all of her grandchildren. She made many special memories with her grandchildren, Milana, Julian, Mason, and Jaxon. She spent the last few years traveling and having new experiences. From Hawaii to Alaska and Key West to New Orleans, she spent so much time creating unforgettable memories with her family. She went on cruises, she went hiking and she even went on a helicopter ride without doors. She wanted to see the country, but Sarasota always held a special place in heart for her and Siesta Key Beach was always her favorite spot across the country.

Julie will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is mother to Eric Bigelow and Chris Bigelow, and she is also survived by her sisters, Wendy Barker and Vicki Hipp.

A celebration of life will be held in Sarasota on July 13th and the family will receive friends to celebrate her wonderful life.
