Julian's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Julian Alexander Schalk on November 29, 2024, born on November 25, 2002. Julian is survived by his mother Erin (Celeste) Schalk and father Daniel Schalk, siblings Isabella, Chloë, and Luca, grandmothers Emma Celeste and Gail Schalk, uncle Chad Celeste, aunt Kimberly Schalk-Grossman (Ryan), also loved and cherished by many aunts, uncles cousins and friends. Julian is preceded in death by Carlo Celeste and John E Schalk. He will also be greatly missed by his feline companion Willow.
Julian had an amazing bond with his family and was an incredible son, grandson, brother, nephew, and friend.
Julian was a man of many varied interests. He enjoyed a host of activities, including hanging with friends, motorcycle riding, drawing, building Legos, and horticulture. Among his many achievements, one that stands out was his visits to seven national parks. Julian‘s Legacy will be how he loved nature and animals and was a supportive and genuine friend. We take comfort in our certainty that his energy will never leave this earth. Julian lit up every room he entered with his infectious smile and personality and he will continue to shine from above.
God graced us with his extraordinary presence for 22 wonderful years. Julian will always be in our hearts and we will be reminded of his love for life and the world around us. Julian will be greatly missed with his radiant personality, joyful spirit, and profound connection with the natural world.
