Duke was always good to me, my mother and my father who was his dear friend before he passed in the early 2000’s. His caring way and determination he showed in trying to give his late wife Janice the best life possible even through Alzheimer’s was always admirable. I hope that they are finally back together. Rest in peace Duke, thanks for the memories over the years.
My Condolence to the Hollowell family. Sorry  for your loss. Duke was a great person with good conversation and very considerate ,and I'm glad got to know him. I cherish the memories.
So sorry to hear of Duke’s  passing. I worked with him many years in the machine shop at the shipyard. He was a great technical mind and could build or repair anything mechanical. He was always willing to help and teach others. He  showed us all the importance of loving your family. May God give you all peace and comfort in the days ahead.

Sorry for your loss. I worked with Duke at the Shipyard. He taught me a lot. Praying for the family.
Melissa, Karen and Carmen,  I am so sorry about your dad.   I know you have a hole in your heart that no one can fill.  He loved you girls.  I have many fond memories of you and your mom and dad spending each Saturday with us when we first moved back to North Carolina.  Let all the good times be what you remember and cherish those times and each other.  Aunt Celia
