Judy Mae Weirts, 76, of Royal Oak, Michigan passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026. Judy was born on August 1, 1949 to Norma Jean Weirts and James Marvin Weirts. She was a devoted sister, aunt, great aunt, friend, and a cherished member of the community. Everyone who met Judy loved her.

Judy was a proud member of the Communications workers of America local 4100 AFL-CIO. She retired from Michigan Bell in 2000 with 31 years of service.

Judy was the most giving person you could hope to meet. She took care of others with joy and ease. She loved gardening, animals, crocheting, sunshine, her Pookies (nieces and nephew), and Grand Pookies. She was always up for a road trip, and if you ever needed directions to anywhere in the greater Detroit area, you could just call Judy.

 A private Celebration of her life will be held on May 9, 2026.
