Judy Gayle Stevens
Judy Gayle Stevens, 79, of Aledo, Texas, departed this world on July 17, 2024. Judy was born on February 11, 1945, in Fort Worth, Texas to John and Pauline Freeman. She was the oldest of three daughters. Judy graduated from Haltom High School in 1963. She went on to have five children, John Driver III, Stacey Driver, Russell Driver, Shawn Stevens, and Aaron Stevens. Judy was a hardworking individual that put her family first. She was a free spirit that loved the Earth and always found or created the beauty in it, and she passed on a green thumb and wealth of knowledge to her survivors. She enjoyed traveling and always found peace in the Rocky Mountains. Her family was her greatest achievement in life, and she enjoyed holiday gatherings with children and grandchildren. Thanksgivings were always spent together with extended family gathering around the table giving thanks. Christmases were treasured, and she always ensured every family member had a beautifully wrapped gift to open around the tree together.
Survived by: Sisters, Janelle Young and Paula Horne; daughter, Stacey Driver, sons John Driver III, Russell Driver, Shawn Stevens, and Aaron Stevens; granddaughters Ashley Ferguson, Maggie Driver, Chelsea Stevens, Shyanna Driver, and Christina Driver; grandsons Dillon Driver, and Levi Stevens; and three great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future with details to be determined.
