Judy Ann (Guetter) Lebeda, 66, of Thornton, CO, passed away on September 10, 2023 with family at her bedside after a 2- year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Judy was born on January 14, 1957 to Arthur and Magdalena (Simon) Guetter in Sterling, Colorado. After graduating from Sterling High School in 1975, she attended Northeastern Junior College. In 1974, she met Philip Lebeda, and they wed August 21, 1976 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Sterling.  They went on to have two daughters, Tracy (Lebeda) Peterson and Kathy (Lebeda) Henson.  During Judy’s working life she was a bookkeeper at the Sterling Airport and worked for Target as a cash counter and front-end supervisor.  Her hobbies included her flowers and garden, cooking and baking, embroidering and taking care of her grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her father and mother Arthur and Magdalena Guetter. She is survived by Philip Lebeda (husband), Tracy Peterson (daughter), Kathy Henson (daughter), Carl Peterson (son-in-law), Natasha Peterson (granddaughter), Anthony Peterson (grandson), Jack Henson (grandson), Riley Henson (granddaughter), Victoria Peterson (granddaughter) and Garlic Olive (cat).

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Lutheran Hospice (Collier Hospice) at 3210 N Lutheran Pkwy, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. 

There will be a funeral service and celebration of life will be invitation only.
