My Mom (Donna Garwood) and I were out at a store with Judy & I wanted a toy on the shelf. My Mom told me "NO" and being a child & wanting it -- I grabbed ahold of Judy's hand and started yelling "get away . . you arent my Mommy . . she is (holding tight to Judy)!  😂😂  My Mom was mortified and Judy was laughing up a storm!  🫶🏻🫶🏻

The Landers have been & will always be "like family" to us and have a special place in our hearts. ♡♡

Happy heavenly birthday, Judy!  🤟🏼🤟🏼  You are loved and missed.  Thank you for being like family to us.  ♡♡  See you again!!
I love you Nannah. Thank you for always treating me as family. Everytime I would say that you’d always say it’s because you are. No one could make me feel special with just a smile like you could and your hugs would make the weight of the world melt away. I’m grateful for the time I got to have with you and you’ll forever be in my heart. You will always be on my Christmas tree. You’ll always be with me on the couch on Monday and Friday nights! Thank you for being my Nannah. 🦋
Dear Landers and Lotfi, I was so sorry to hear of passing of Judy - although it was years ago when we met, the fact that she accepted and “addopted” an exchange student on top of her children showed how special person she was. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

Dearest family, my heart is with you. I’m so sorry for your loss. Judy was such a sweet and kind presence in my life, always making me feel like one of her own. I’ll always remember her generous warmth, humor, and wonderful outlook.

I know heaven is that much warmer and brighter now that she has been called back home. Although there is the pain of missing her, the cherished memories we hold help ease that pain, filling my heart with her contagious love and joy and reminding me to enjoy life as she always did. I can’t help but smile knowing she’s catching Dad up on all that’s been going on with us.

Love and miss you, Judy. Say hi to Dad for me.

Love,

Darby
