Judy Jenkins age 72, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025 at her home. Judy was born February 26, 1952 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Willian and Josie Austin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband William Jenkins, brothers Hansford Austin, Homer Austin, James Austin, Woodrow Austin, Paul Austin. sisters Victoria Cunningham, Goldie Litten, Nora Morgan. Dimple McCardy. 

She is survived by one daughter, Jessica (Bud) Jervis, Paintsville Kentucky; Two Granddaughters  Kathlyn Jervis. and Sabrina Jervis from Paintsville Ky; one sister, Dosha (Jack) Clemons of Paintsville, Kentucky; one brother  Ray Austin of Paintsville Ky; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Judy worked for Goodwill Thift Store of Paintsville Ky. 

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2025 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jerry Castle and Rev. Doug Murray officiating. Burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 4, 2025 and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2025.
