Judy Annette Hunnicutt (nee Parris), born on November 15, 1943, in Guntersville, Alabama, departed this life on May 2, 2024, in Stockbridge, Georgia, at the age of 80.
A woman of faith and the epitome of southern grace, Judy was renowned for her unwavering kindness, her generous spirit, and her willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need. Her delightful wit and her deep affection for all creatures spoke volumes of her compassionate soul. A devout Christian, Judy lived her life as a testament to her beliefs.
Judy dedicated her professional life to serving others through various customer service roles, where she was cherished for her warmth and empathy. Her dedication to her work was paralleled only by her devotion to her family and friends.
In her leisure, Judy found solace in the simple pleasures of life. She could often be found walking alongside her rescue dog, Smokey, or amidst the blooms of her well-tended garden. Family gatherings were her greatest joy, and she was a fixture in the audience of her favorite game shows, sharing laughter and cheer.
Judy leaves behind a loving family: her son, Gregory Hunnicutt, and daughter-in-law, Courtney; her daughter, Pamela McCants; her cherished grandchildren, Troy, Krystal, James, and Matthew; and her adored great-grandchildren, Amari and Kayleigh. Her legacy also lives on through her extended family members, who found in her a source of endless love and support.
Preceding Judy in eternal rest are her beloved husband, Frankie Wayne Hunnicutt, and her siblings Rex, Howard, Dwight, Fred, Neil, Charles, Mildred, and Melba Jean.
