Judy's obituary
Judith Carol "Judy" Farinetti, a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2023, at the age of 77, in Mt. Clemens, MI, after a brief illness. Born on December 7, 1945, in Detroit, MI, Judy was the daughter of the late Arthur Oswald II and Dorothy Oswald.
Judy is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Fred LaVigne of Warren, and Kelly and Steve Calhoun of Clinton Twp.; five grandchildren, Chelsea (Rich) Fowler, Justin Farinetti, Kaydi LaVigne, Jessica, and Ethan Calhoun; her sister Terry Crosby, brother Arthur Oswald III, and her beloved Shitzu, “Dusty”. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Carley and her grandson Lucas Calhoun.
Judy was a dedicated nurse’s aide for many years before retiring, caring for others with a gentle touch and a kind heart. Her love of painting allowed her to express her creativity and share her talent with family and friends. Judy was a devoted dog lover, and her furry companion, Dusty, brought her endless joy.
As a mother, Judy's love knew no bounds. She was a beacon of strength, guidance, and unconditional love for her daughters, Kimberly and Kelly.
The role of grandmother was one Judy cherished deeply. Her five grandchildren, Chelsea, Justin, Kaydi, Jessica, and Ethan, were the light of her life. She was a constant presence in their lives, attending their activities and events, and always offering her love and support. Judy's influence and love will be carried on by her grandchildren as they continue to grow and make their mark on the world.
Judy's love of dogs was no secret, and her beloved Shitzu, Dusty, was her constant companion and source of happiness. Dusty brought a special joy to Judy's life, and their bond was truly one of a kind. Dusty's presence will serve as a loving reminder of the life Judy lived and the love she shared.
