Judy's obituary
Judy Clark, recently of Surprise, Arizona, passed away in her home on August 1, 2023 at the age of 71.Judy was born to Bessie Mae Green and Bert Elvin Clark on March 23, 1952 in American Fork, Utah.
Judy grew up in the Pleasant Grove area graduating from High School and started doing a little modeling for JCPenney, custodial work and working in production until she furthered her education. Judy attended Provo-Orem Community College and made the Dean’s List at Salt Lake Community College. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she held several callings throughout her lifetime. Judy enjoyed family history, going to lunch with her dear friends, serving her community through her work in pediatrics and collecting unusual pets like a spider monkey, discus fish, emus and cockatiels.
Judy married the late William Rand Jarvis on November 13,1969 and they were blessed with four children during their 18 years of marriage. They had many adventures together. For Judy, her family was the center of her universe. She treasured the time spent with her children, grandchildren and later her great grandchildren; always striving to support them in whatever way that she could. She had a talent for finding the perfect gift. Judy always had a warm welcome, bright smile and a delicious home cooked meal for any who entered her home. She gave with all of her heart, had a bright laugh that brought joy to many and she had a lively sense of humor! Judy was a wonderful example of Christlike love, with gentle words and kindness at the ready. Her family and her faith are her greatest legacies!
Judy is survived by her children Virginia Schultz, Surprise, AZ; Jacqueline (Oscar) Bell, Nephi, UT; Cannonball (Lynn) Jarvis, Levan, UT; Joseph (Christinna) Jarvis, Casa Grande, AZ; her grandchildren Tiffani Schrader, Dena (Richie) Homyak, Kiera Knepper, Kelsea Knepper, Aurora Bell, Rayven Bell, Bradlee Emery, Dakota Jarvis, Hunter Jarvis, Lonnie Jarvis, Trevor Jarvis, Cooper Jarvis, Carson Jarvis, Elena Jarvis, Zeke Jarvis, Esmeralda Jarvis and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Elvin (Maryann) Clark, Fremont, UT; Deborah Clark, Polson, MT; Cindy Oliphant, MI and her former spouses Richard C. Hickman, CA; and Dan J. Hatch, UT.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Bert E. and Bessie M. Clark, her siblings Guy V. Clark, Dennis B. and his wife Nancy K. Clark and her grandson D. Miles Knepper.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, 4pm, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 787 E. Kortsen Rd., Casa Grande, AZ 85122.
