I met Judy when our husbands were employed at the same Company in the Phila., Pa. area and we both enjoyed our many social get-togethers when all our children were invited also - what great fun that was for all of us and I always marveled at Judy's infinite patience and pleasure at having our families together.....she was a most caring, kindly and giving, individual who always made you feel you were an important person in her life, as she was indeed to me; it was so natural that she & Ed be godparents to one of our children - Rest In Peace my sweet, great, friend.............love you !
Aunt Judy was my godmother and a steady source of love and support. She sent me my very first postcard from her and my god-uncle's many travels, and many more thereafter. We maintained a steady mail correspondence - receiving notes from her on every holiday and my birthday was something I looked forward to - and spanned years and dozens of memories as our lives grew and changed. I'm the proud owner of one of her beautiful quilts. Aunt Judy, your unconditional love and thoughtfulness will always be part of me. Love, Melissa

I met Judith about 1 year ago, sewing together in our quilt group. Her handiwork was beautiful—all hand stitched and revealing love and dedication.
Last time I saw her, I gave her face masks I had made with beautiful fabric she had giving me, honoring quilters. I hope to honor Judith as I carry on making quilts for those that need them.

Judy was a special friend. She reached out to me when I joined the guilt group at Casta when I moved here two years ago. She shared not only her love of quilting but gave me her notebook of directions to places in the area (restaurants, fabric stores, etc). It was invaluable to a recent transplant. She welcomed me into her home and included me on trips to quilt shows. I will miss her smiling face and warm heart. Rest in peace my friend.
To all of you who have written a memory or condolence to the Roschak family, we would like to say thank you very much for your kind and loving comments.
I met Judy at quilting and looked forward to seeing her. She not only quilted by hand but also assembled them in the same way. She shared her talent, abilities and her smile with all of us, willing to give of herself.
She will be missed!
My condolences go out to Ed and all of her family.

From the time Judy moved next door to me, I knew I had a friend. She was not only a friend - but a confidant, advisor and mentor. She brought me into the world of quilting; one I never in my lifetime thought to master.

With her sweet smile, calm demeanor and lady-like presence , she was loved and a friend to everyone she met.
To Judy's family.........
Truly a wonderful person she was. We met at exercise class and got to know each other and immediately became friends. Sharing her struggles this past year and her positive outlook will always be an inspiration for me. Bless you Judy......will miss our friendship. Always in my heart.
Judy Lewandowski Roschak was my first cousin. She was the oldest remaining of the Lewandowski girls (cousins). I always looked up to Judy and missed her when she left California and was so glad when she and Ed returned to California. She was a great hostess, cook and quilter. She loved Ed and her children and grandchildren. She was fun, and I enjoyed our Lewandowski cousins reunions with her leadership. And I shall miss her.
My condolences to your entire family. I met Judy through the quilting class through the Emeritus Program through Saddleback College. I was so impressed with her quilting expertise and her patience with showing me her hand quilting.
Judy and I took exercise classes together before the Covid. She always had a smile and a little neighborhood information. She was so positive and happy. I will miss her so much. May she rest in peace.
My sincere sympathy on Judy's passing. I only recently met Judy through the quilting group at Casta del Sol and so enjoyed her enthusiasm for this craft. I would also see her when I was out walking in the morning. Always a smile and friendly word. She will be missed.
Dear Ed, Carol, Ed and family,
My sincere condolences to all. Please know I still have fond memories of our family get togethers long ago and am glad to have known gracious Judy.
My prayers to all as I know she will be missed so much. ❤️
Kind regards and love,
Joanne (Toro) Ziegler
