Judy's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judith Elizabeth “Judy” Reddall, who passed away in Toronto on March 5, 2026, at the age of 81.
Judy was born in Toronto, Ontario on January 5, 1945. She spent much of her life in Ontario, living for many years in Gravenhurst before returning to Toronto later in life. Judy was known by friends and neighbours for speaking her mind, her quick wit, her sense of style, and her thoughtful nature.
Judy was a familiar face in the St. Lawrence Market area with her dog, Sal, and a staple at Betty’s on King Street, where she made many friends before it closed. She had many long-time friends, near and far, who cherished the laughter, stories, and unmistakable character she brought wherever she went. Judy had a deep appreciation for local art, enjoyed fine food, classic movies & television, and often had Frank Sinatra on repeat while relaxing at home.
Judy had a love of travel and adventure. In recent years she enjoyed several memorable luxury cruises, including trips to Fiji, the United Kingdom, Scotland, Iceland, and along the coast of New England. These journeys brought her great joy and allowed her to experience many beautiful parts of the world.
Judy is survived by her sister, Heather Carleton, who will miss her dearly. Judy was predeceased by her husband, William David “Bill” Reddall, her former husband, William Dudley “Bill” Lewis, and her sister, Joyce Kingdon.
Judy’s memory will live on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
A private remembrance will be held.
